More than 7 in 10 consumers find glass packaging to be the highest quality container available on the market, says a survey by Newton Market Research. The survey also found a whopping 82 percent
of consumers to believe that glass is the healthiest packaging material for preserving beverages.
It’s a matter of taste
Consumers not only perceive glass to be healthier and higher quality. The Newton Market Research survey also found 91 percent of consumers who drink wine, spirits and beer consider glass the best packaging for preserving the taste of alcoholic beverages. Wine makers
themselves agree as well that glass bottles are the best option for preserving the flavor of wine for several years.
